Job Summary

We are seeking a visionary and highly skilled Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a deep-rooted passion for Far Eastern flavors (covering regions such as Japan China Thailand or Vietnam) and the ability to blend traditional techniques with modern presentation. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality kitchen efficiency and team leadership while ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Menu Engineering & Innovation: Design and implement a sophisticated menu that highlights authentic Far Eastern flavors while incorporating seasonal high-quality ingredients.

  • Quality Control: Ensure every dish leaving the kitchen meets the restaurants exacting standards for taste temperature and visual artistry.

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily kitchen operations including inventory management food cost control and procurement of specialty Asian ingredients.

  • Team Leadership: Recruit train and mentor a diverse kitchen brigade. Foster a culture of excellence discipline and continuous learning.

  • Health & Safety: Maintain rigorous standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety in compliance with local Turkish regulations and international HACCP standards.

  • Sustainability: Optimize kitchen processes to minimize waste and ensure sustainable sourcing practices.



Requirements


Experience Minimum 10 years in Far Eastern cuisine with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Head/Executive Chef).
Education Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional certification.
Technical Skills Mastery of Wok cooking Sushi/Sashimi preparation Dim Sum or traditional fermentation/sauce-making.
Soft Skills Strong leadership effective communication and the ability to work under high pressure.
Language Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Turkish or a relevant Asian language is a significant plus.
