As a Quant Analytics Senior Associate within the Connected Commerce Enablement Analytics team you will deliver data-driven solutions that strengthen fraud and scam prevention efforts. You will collaborate across teams to support the Trust and Security Data work stream driving innovation and continuous improvement in data strategy.
Job responsibilities
- Deliver analytical approaches to identify opportunities to improve fraud and scam prevention while balancing customer satisfaction
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive data strategy roadmap in collaboration with Data Owners Tech and Product Owners aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business priorities into actionable data initiatives
- Drive adoption of best practices in data management and analytics through training mentoring and knowledge sharing
- Continuously monitor and optimize data processes analytical models and infrastructure for improvement and innovation
- Bring order to disparate requirements with strong problem-solving and client engagement skills
- Integrate data discoveries and processes into operational capabilities by collaborating with unit managers end users developers and other stakeholders
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Bachelors degree in a relevant quantitative field
- Eight years industry experience in Data and Analytics
- Experience in digital and/or product analytics with understanding of common digital metrics and definitions
- Demonstrated ability to define business KPIs and establish measurement frameworks
- Proficient in modern analytics tools such as SQL AWS Hive Hadoop Spark Python R and digital behavioral data tools like Adobe Analytics
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences including senior leadership
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in project teams with strong time-management and multi-tasking skills
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Basic knowledge of data mining quantitative research and data science techniques such as decision trees regressions and machine learning
- Financial services background
- Advanced degree in a relevant quantitative field
