About the role:
The Senior Program Manager (PM) serves as the primary point of contact for the organizations interventions within specific state initiatives (currently focused on Haryana). This leadership role is central to ensuring successful project implementation through effective stakeholder management and strategic oversight & excellent at budget management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Project Management

Primary Liaison: Act as the single point of contact for critical project decisions across multiple states.

Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with senior government officials funders and partners to achieve defined project outcomes.

Strategic Planning: Develop both short-term and long-term project plans utilizing specialized tools to monitor progress and manage escalations.

Oversight: Monitor project timelines progress risks and dependencies delegating responsibilities effectively to the team.
Cross-functional Support & Documentation

Internal Alignment: Lead collaboration across various internal teams to ensure backend support for state-specific initiatives.

Data Analysis: Analyze program data to identify trends across state programs and contribute to broader organizational learning.

M&E Integration: Work closely with the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team to implement effective tracking systems and review expenditures against budgets.

Evidence Building: Document program activities develop case studies and compile evidence of successful outcomes.
Qualifications Skills and Experience:
Education and Experience

Degree: Bachelors degree in a relevant field; a Masters degree is highly preferred.

Experience: 56 years of experience in program management.

Sector Knowledge: Proven experience managing projects involving senior government functionaries is preferred.
Core Skills:

Data Proficiency: Strong ability to interpret and utilize data to inform high-level decision-making.

Project Expertise: Excellent project management skills with a focus on executing strategic plans.

Communication: Exceptional communication skills in both English and Hindi with the ability to engage stakeholders at various levels.
