Job Summary
Our client a provider of financial services to the international business sector serving a diverse international client portfolio is seeking a Corporate Lawyer to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in corporate and/or tax law along with strong English communication skills. This is a great opportunity for those who want to build their network and grow their career.
This is a hybrid role offering a salary of up to 55K plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Role & Responsibilities
Assist clients with all aspects of corporate governance and administration including submissions to the Registrar of Companies
Draft and review legal and corporate documents resolutions Powers of Attorney various agreements and civil contracts
Support matters related to immigration law and compliance procedures
Communicate with clients professional advisors and regulatory authorities
Assist clients with company incorporation maintenance structuring and restructuring
Conduct legal research on various points of law and provide consolidated legal opinions
Education Skills & Experience
Bachelors degree in Law
Local warrant is not required but would be considered an advantage
2 years of local (Maltese) experience in corporate law international taxation or both
Excellent English communication skills at C2/native level both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook Word Excel)
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
About the Role
Salary up to 55K with regular appraisals
Hybrid with flexible hours (three days in the office and two days remotely)
