Job Description for Field Service Engineer

Job Type : Project Based (Offrole) Payroll Company: Randstad India

Duration : 12 Month extendable

Requirements: -

Position: Field Service Engineer
Field Service Engineer should be able to communicate in English Hindi and Local Language.
Service Engineer should be smart and Presentable.

Service engineers have to repair and service all the machine UPS or Mixer which are under maintenance contract.
They have to plan the servicing/ Preventive maintenance work in advance so the output of the Dealer / Depot / Warehouse is not affected by the service work.

They have to work in teams and delegate work amongst them so the work can be conducted in a fast pace and adhere to the instruction given by Team Leader/ Supervisor or Superiors.
They have to make detailed reports on all the work that is done on each machine.
They have to ensure that any parts that need replacing are available in stock.
They have to work on improving the performance of the machine. Like Overhauling Service Campaign or Repeat calls reductions.
They also have to conduct safety checks on all the machines or it could prove to be dangerous for the operator / Dealer working on them.
They have to keep an inventory of equipment required for the repair work.
Service engineers have to know about all the latest machinery that is available in the market.
Mobile APP usage for call closing spares replacement expense etc.
Service Engineers have to submit expense statement weekly/Fortnightly.

Education
Diploma in Engineering Mechanical Electrical Electronics
