Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Litigation & Trial Attorney to join a dynamic legal team in El Segundo California. The ideal candidate will manage a broad range of civil litigation matters from case inception through trial and resolution demonstrating strong courtroom presence and exceptional legal expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle all phases of civil litigation including pleadings discovery depositions motions hearings and trials.
Represent clients in court proceedings mediations and arbitrations.
Draft review and file legal documents such as complaints answers motions briefs and settlement agreements.
Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies.
Prepare witnesses trial exhibits and evidence.
Manage multiple cases independently while ensuring deadlines and compliance.
Maintain professional communication with clients opposing counsel and internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active California State Bar membership in good standing.
3 15 years of experience in civil litigation and trial practice.
Strong courtroom advocacy and negotiation skills.
Excellent legal research writing and analytical abilities.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in personal injury employment law commercial litigation insurance defense real estate or construction litigation.
Proven trial and jury trial experience highly preferred.
