Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney to join our team in Irvine CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and a proven track record of success in handling complex legal cases. The Litigation Attorney will be responsible for managing a caseload of litigation matters representing clients in court and providing legal advice and guidance to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of litigation matters including drafting pleadings conducting legal research and representing clients in court.
- Communicate with clients opposing counsel and other parties involved in the litigation process.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support legal proceedings and provide legal advice to clients.
- Prepare and review legal documents including briefs motions and contracts.
- Attend and participate in depositions hearings and trials as needed.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies and ensure the best possible outcome for clients.
- Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may impact ongoing cases.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member of the California State Bar.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation.
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficient in legal research and writing.
- Experience with document management software and electronic filing systems.
