Trial Attorney
About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and courtroom-ready Trial Attorney Real Estate Litigation (Unlawful Detainer & Evictions) to join our established and growing real estate litigation practice in North Hollywood.
This position is ideal for a confident litigator who enjoys being in trial taking ownership of cases and advocating for landlords property owners and real estate professionals. You will manage cases from inception through trial handle high-volume unlawful detainer matters and play a key role in shaping litigation strategy.

This role is designed for attorneys who want to actively litigate-not sit behind a desk-and who are motivated by results performance and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle unlawful detainer (UD) and eviction matters from filing through trial and judgment
- Appear in court for trials hearings motions and case management conferences
- Draft and argue law and motion matters including demurrers motions to strike motions for summary judgment and ex parte applications
- Develop trial strategy prepare witnesses and organize evidence
- Conduct depositions and manage written discovery
- Prepare pleadings discovery responses and trial briefs
- Negotiate settlements and stipulations when appropriate
- Advise clients on litigation strategy compliance and risk assessment
- Ensure compliance with California civil procedure and local court rules
- Manage and prioritize a high-volume caseload efficiently
Qualifications:
- Active member in good standing with the California State Bar (Required)
- 3 7 years of litigation experience preferred
- Strong experience in unlawful detainer eviction proceedings and real estate litigation
- Significant courtroom and trial experience required
- Familiarity with California civil procedure and local court rules
- Experience representing landlords property managers and/or real estate professionals preferred
- Excellent legal research drafting and oral advocacy skills
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills
