Job Title: Litigation Associate
Job Location: Hackensack NJ (Hybrid)
Duration: Full-time
Position Overview:
A well-regarded law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with at least three years of experience to join its New Jersey litigation practice. This position involves handling sophisticated commercial litigation matters for a diverse client base across state and federal courts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft and argue motions pleadings and substantive briefs
- Manage discovery including document production depositions and e-discovery issues
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex legal issues
- Assist with hearings mediations and trial preparation
- Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on strategy and case management
- Maintain direct client contact and manage day-to-day aspects of litigation matters
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- 3 years of sophisticated commercial litigation experience
- Active membership in the New Jersey Bar (required)
- Experience litigating in New Jersey state and federal courts
- Strong legal research writing and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
