Family Law Associate
About the Role:
We are seeking a Family Law Associate with 4 years of experience in a private firm setting who is passionate about guiding clients through sensitive and complex family law matters.
In this role you will independently manage cases while collaborating closely with an experienced team of family law attorneys. You will work on sophisticated matters involving complex financial issues custody disputes and domestic violence cases. This position offers significant client interaction courtroom exposure and the opportunity to take ownership of your matters while benefiting from a strong team structure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all aspects of family law matters including complex financial issues custody and domestic violence
- Draft pleadings discovery requests financial disclosures and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail
- Prepare for and participate in mediations settlement negotiations hearings and trials
- Work closely with experts and other professionals to develop case strategy
- Appear before judicial officers and advocate effectively in court
- Collaborate with colleagues within the family law group to achieve the best possible client outcomes
- Engage in ongoing professional development and community involvement
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the State Bar of California
- 4 years of legal experience with demonstrated interest in Family Law
- Experience handling matters independently in a private firm setting
- Strong courtroom presence and advocacy skills
- Experience drafting discovery pleadings and financial disclosures
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and experts
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $175000 to $245000. This range reflects a good faith estimate of potential compensation and may vary based on experience qualifications and skill set.
