Job Summary
Counter Sales - Warehouse - Forklift Associate
Hiring a Warehouse Associate with Forklift and Counter Sales or Customer Service experience to support an HVAC Manufacturing Organization that is the leader in climate control products. Need a team player who is okay with helping where needed in the store someone who can support Warehouse Operations - not just forklift; whether working in the warehouse at the counter helping customers or could be answering phones.
PAY RATE: 20.00 hour
HOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm (M-F)
LOCATION: Urbandale IA 50323
DUTIES:
- Under general supervision performs manual warehouse and computer clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials supplies equipment and finished products.
- Receives goods verifies items against the record of shipment and inspects condition.
- Gathers verifies and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
- Routes materials supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
- Completes written and computerized documentation.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or GED - Required
- Drug Test
- Background Check (Felony and Misdemeanor last 7 years)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Forklift operation - Required
- Counter Sales or Customer Service experience
- Computer skills to look up parts for customers and customer orders
- SAP EWM experience would be preferred
- Shipping and Receiving experience
- Good oral and written communications skills.
- Good computer skills required: Microsoft applications.
- General HVAC knowledge helpful
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
