Whats the role
Were looking for a Senior Manager Business Controls & Monitoring to support firstline risk management within the Commodities Trade & Transition (CTT) business in Westpac Institutional Banking.
In this role youll partner closely with business leaders and risk teams to help identify manage and monitor nonfinancial risks such as operational and compliance risk.
Youll support the embedment of Westpacs risk frameworks strengthen controls and promote a strong risk culture that balances commercial outcomes with customer and regulatory expectations.
Youll work across the three lines of defence provide practical risk advice and help ensure risks controls incidents and issues are managed consistently across the endtoend value chain.
This is a Sydneybased role with flexible working arrangements (3 days in office).
