About the role:
The coordinator oversees service delivery to families and is responsible for liaison with stakeholders for the service as well as reporting to the Department. The coordinator will work with the Manager Pilbara & NT Services other Mackillop staff and the Dept. of Communities to ensure the development and implementation of therapeutically oriented culturally appropriate and safe services.
The coordinator will establish and maintain positive relationships with the key stakeholders and partner agencies relevant to the Services to ensure a co-ordinated effective and timely response to children and families be responsible for accepting allocating and managing referrals provide supervision and support to the Case Managers and Support Workers located in Port Hedland and Roebourne to ensure high quality service provision be actively engaged in service level networking and service and community development initiatives carry a small case load and provide support to others as required ensure a Community Support Network for each family is established and supported including identifying potential network members and actively encourage and support participation of family community and significant others where possible.
This is a Full-Time opportunity based in Port Hedland VIC within our IFSS FCSS and OOHC Programs. The position reports to the Manager Pilbara and NT.
