Our services include a state-of-the-art psychiatric urgent care center and a soon-to-be-built pediatric behavioral health center outpatient inpatient partial hospitalization (day programs) assessment and testing residential addiction treatment and specialty services such as crisis response employee assistance programs forensic psychiatry and psychology and neuromodulation. On-the-job educational programs for nurses psychologists advanced practice providers psychiatrists and chaplains are equipping the next generation of care providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical and emotional care to individuals with mental illness or developmental delays
• Maintain a safe therapeutic environment and actively participate in safety management crisis intervention and de-escalation
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing grooming dressing toileting etc.)
• Observe document and report patient behaviors progress medications and safety concerns
• Support individual treatment plans and a recovery-focused person-centered approach
• Facilitate group activities social skills and skill-building
• Perform unit and household duties (cleaning laundry meal prep) and escort patients to appointments and community outings
• Conduct safety checks searches and drug testing as required
• Role model Pine Rests mission values and professionalism assist in training new staff and perform basic administrative tasks
• Provide spiritual emotional social and mental support as part of patient care

Education & Experience

• Minimum 6 months post-secondary education in behavioral sciences or equivalent (preferred)
• CNA certification or 12 years of college coursework (preferred)

Schedule

• Onsite position
• May include weekends and holidays
