Lead Technical Analyst Source to Pay

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• The Lead Technical Analyst role is responsible for leading the support for software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise-wide applications necessary for the collection retrieval accessibility and usage of data for internal department planning and activities within the Source to Pay workstream. The incumbent will lead the partnership with technical teams to ensure software systems are running efficiently with minimal downtime. The incumbent will be responsible for managing configuration set up and updates to the applications validating that their team has entered data into established tables fields and system databases with the highest level of accuracy. The incumbent is an expert in developing custom queries and building reports utilizing query and flexible reporting tools to facilitate business management decisions. The role will provide strategic advice to management concerning changes in applications development maintenance and system standards to optimize performance and mitigate potential risk with the ability to analyze various metrics to monitor performance and provide insights to management. The incumbent will lead and mentor the team responsible for training users on the applications and setting up user access. They will supervise the collaboration between cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to provide sufficient support for the enterprise-wide applications.

WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO:

• Lead the support for software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise-wide applications by providing guidance on developing and identifying design considerations and business impacts needed for configuration within the Source to Pay workstream
• Drive quality of data for internal department planning and activities
• Lead configuration setup and updating of applications and provide guidance as needed
• Manage data loading process into established tables fields and system databases
• Review and approve governance standards and processes for data input structures and storage mechanisms
• Lead the team in building reports and provide strategic insights and recommendations related to business management and staff decisions
• Lead and mentor the team responsible for training users on the applications and setting up user access
• Provide strategic recommendations for changes in applications development maintenance and system standards
• Establish and share Enterprise-wide Applications perspective when collaborating with cross-functional technical teams within the organization to ensure the integration and interoperability of enterprise-wide systems
• Lead and liaise with client stakeholders and external vendors to ensure support for enterprise-wide applications

Education

• Required
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information lieu of a degree at least 9 years of experience in enterprise-wide software support
• Preferred
  • Certifications in ITIL Microsoft and/or Oracle

Skills and Experience

• 6-8 years of experience in enterprise-wide software support with in-depth knowledge of software development methodologies
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise-wide applications and software platforms
• Experience managing software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise-wide systems
• Expertise in configuring and setting up various enterprise-wide applications
• Experience applying security designs and principles to technology-based business solutions
• Ability to develop and review complex custom queries using query and reporting tools
• Extensive knowledge of data management best practices and quality control processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors

Preferred

• Extensive experience with configuring and using Oracle Fusion Cloud within the Sourcing and Purchasing space
• Understanding of the underlying assumptions within a Procurement workflow and how they are implemented within Oracle Fusion Cloud
• Experience in connecting Oracle Fusion to other cloud or on-premises systems
• Extensive knowledge of building and executing end to end test cases during development cycles in an Agile team
