The Technical Training Manager is responsible for designing and delivering highquality technical training programmes for both internal employees and customers with a strong focus on practical handson training delivery.
The role supports capability building customer confidence and revenue growth by delivering engaging training on the companys sealing technologies including wet mechanical seals dry gas seals and sealing systems. While product knowledge is advantageous the primary focus is on experience delivering customer training and facilitating practical exercises.
This role is focused on supporting the Latin America region delivering training in Spanish and Portuguese and expanding our customer training offering across the region.
Training Delivery
- Deliver instructorled technical training to internal employees and customers both inperson and virtually.
- Facilitate handson practical exercises workshops and demonstrations enabling learners to apply concepts in realworld scenarios.
- Deliver customer training programmes including scheduled courses and bespoke customer workshops tailored to specific operational needs.
- Deliver training in Spanish and Portuguese to support regional audiences across LATAM.
- Serve as a technical and practical training ambassador when engaging with customers.
Content & Programme Support
- Use existing materials and adapt them to support practical application exercises and scenariobased learning.
- Collaborate with product portfolio engineering and operations teams to ensure training content is technically accurate and operationally relevant.
- Support and enhance handson training components including equipmentbased training where applicable.
- Provide structured feedback to improve training effectiveness usability and learner engagement.
Customer Engagement & Commercial Support
- Support revenuegenerating customer training programmes across LATAM.
- Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to identify and develop customer training opportunities.
- Deliver professional highquality training experiences that strengthen customer relationships and trust.
- Actively contribute to the growth of customer training offerings into Spanish and Portuguesespeaking markets.
Continuous Improvement
- Collect learner feedback focused on both theoretical understanding and practical competence.
- Continuously improve training delivery methods using modern learning and facilitation techniques.
- Support regional training reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
Required Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience delivering technical training to customers ideally in an industrial or engineeringfocused environment.
- Practical handson experience in delivering technical workshops exercises or equipmentbased training.
- Confidence in facilitating interactive scenariobased and applied learning experiences.
- Strong instructorled facilitation skills (inperson and virtual).
- Fluency in Spanish and Portuguese (spoken and written).
- Ability to clearly explain technical concepts and guide learners through practical applications.
- Willingness to travel within the LATAM region as required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with wet mechanical seals dry gas seals sealing systems compressors or related rotating equipment.
- Background in oil & gas energy industrial manufacturing or similar sectors.
- Experience delivering handson customer training in a paid or commercial context.
- TraintheTrainer or adult learning certification.
