Job Summary

Job Role:International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) Design and Technology Teacher

Location:DLF Phase 1 Gurgaon

We are seeking a passionate and experiencedDesign and Technology teacherto join our International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with theIBDP Design Technology syllabus.
Foster a stimulating learning environment that promotescreativity innovation and practical skills development.
Guide students through thedesign cycle emphasizing research ideation prototyping and evaluation.
Support students withInternal Assessments (IA)and prepare them for theexternal examinations.
Maintain an organized and safeworkshop or lab environmentwith appropriate tools materials and technologies.
Encourage cross-curricular connections and real-world applications of design and technology.
Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary projects and school-wide initiatives.
Provide regular and constructivefeedbackto students and maintain open communication with parents.
Stay current with developments indesign technology sustainability and industry trends.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree inDesign Engineering Industrial Design Technology Education or a related field. IBDP Design Technology training or certification will be preferred.
At least2 years of experience teaching Design Technology ideally within the IB framework.
Experience with CAD software (e.g. Fusion 360 SolidWorks) digital fabrication tools (e.g. 3D printers laser cutters) and traditional workshop equipment.
Strong understanding ofIB philosophy and pedagogy.
Excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for innovation sustainability and global design thinking.
