Job Summary

Job Title: Contracting Specialist - Legal & Commercial Clause Negotiation

Location: Gurugram / Bangalore
Experience: 8-15 Years

Role Summary:

We are seeking experienced Contracting professionals with strong expertise in reviewing drafting and negotiating procurement-related contracts. The role requires hands-on experience in handling both client and supplier templates redlining agreements and closing contracts in collaboration with legal and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Review draft and negotiate procurement (buy-side) contracts
Conduct detailed redline reviews of supplier markups
Ensure alignment with organizational and legal standards
Collaborate with legal sourcing and commercial stakeholders to drive contract closure
Manage contracts with global exposure and cross-border considerations
Utilize CLMT (Contract Lifecycle Management Tools) for contract governance

Key Skills & Requirements:

Strong understanding of legal clauses and corporate legal agreements
Proven experience in contract drafting and negotiation
Experience handling procurement contracts across categories (Marketing/Real Estate exposure is an advantage)
Familiarity with CLMT tools preferred
Legal degree / LLM preferred (not mandatory with relevant experience)
