The Role
Leading and managing the Art department across KS3 KS4 and KS5
Driving high standards of teaching learning and assessment
Overseeing curriculum development coursework and examination performance
Supporting and mentoring departmental staff
Organising exhibitions displays and enrichment opportunities
Managing departmental resources and contributing to whole-school initiatives
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
A degree in Art Fine Art or a related subject
Proven experience teaching Art at secondary level including KS5
Previous leadership experience within an Art department
A strong track record of raising attainment and promoting creative excellence
Excellent organisational communication and leadership skills
