Position: Lab Medical Assistant

Salary: $24.00/hr
Location: Lifekind Health UDS Laboratory Clinic Interface San Jacinto CA
Summary:
The Lab MA ensures proper intake verification and transfer of UDS specimens from all Lifekind Health clinics. This role is responsible for correct labeling documentation chain-of-custody processes and professional communication with clinic teams. The Lab MA prepares specimens for confirmatory testing and supports the laboratory with general workflow and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accept UDS specimens from six clinics throughout the day.
- Verify patient identifiers labeling documentation and provider attribution.
- Maintain chain-of-custody records and secure specimens for processing.
- Communicate specimen errors to clinical teams and ensure corrections.
- Prepare shipments and documentation for quantitative confirmatory testing.
- Support Lab Assistant and CLS with intake organization logs supplies and safety protocols.
- Maintain HIPAA OSHA and internal compliance.
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant diploma or certification preferred.
- 1 year of clinical experience recommended.
Strong attention to detail communication and accuracy.
