Description

Watson Hygienics is looking for a dedicated Payroll Assistant to join our team in Fort Worth. This full-time hybrid position is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates who are eager to start their career in the health and fitness industry. As a Payroll Assistant you will play a crucial role in ensuring our employees are compensated accurately and on time.

In this role you will be responsible for managing payroll records processing employee timecards and assisting with various payroll-related inquiries. You will work closely with the HR department to ensure compliance with all regulations and contribute to the smooth operation of our payroll processes. Responsibilities

  • Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records
  • Assist employees with payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies
  • Collaborate with the HR department to ensure timely processing of new hires and terminations
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed
  • Ensure compliance with federal state and local payroll regulations
  • Assist with year-end payroll processes including W-2 preparation
  • Support payroll audits and provide necessary documentation

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
  • Basic knowledge of payroll practices and regulations is preferred
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new payroll systems
