Job Summary
Travel RN - MedSurg (Nights)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced RN- MedSurg for a 13-week travel assignment in Carbondale IL.
Assignment:
- Nights 3 x 12 36 hrs/week GTD
- Start Date: 2/16/2026
- Contract: 13 weeks
- EMR: EPIC
- Nursing ratio is 5:1 on days and 5-6:1 on nights
- Location: Carbondale IL 62901
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients to determine mental physical and spiritual needs.
- Assesses plans implements and evaluates an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team.
- Provides explanations and instructions to the patient/responsible person.
- Demonstrate ability to use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
- Contribute to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills.
- Meets Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
Compensation:
- Weekly Pay (hourly) Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be proficient in moderate sedation
- Must have a current CPR/BLS & NIHSS
- Must have a current Illinois Registered Nurse license
- 2 years MedSurg RN experience preferred
- Must have recent travel experience
- Stroke Certification required(RNs who are stroke certified able to do three 12-hour shifts every other weekend and every other holiday.)
- Strong communication professionalism and reliability
- The current onboarding process includes one 8-hour day to complete modules policies and required tasks followed by up to two 12-hour orientation shifts on the floor.
- Candidates must be able to hit the ground running.
Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start):
- Drug screen and background check (facility required)
- Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
