Job Description: Revenue Cycle Specialist

The Revenue Cycle Specialist at Au Natural Organics is responsible for managing the full revenue cycle processfrom charge capture and claims submission to payment posting and collections. This crucial role ensures accurate billing timely reimbursement compliance with regulations and strong financial performance while supporting our mission of ethical and sustainable care.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end revenue cycle processes including billing coding claims submission payment posting and account reconciliation.
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid claims.
Ensure accurate charge entry and documentation compliance.
Identify and resolve billing discrepancies or denials.
Prepare revenue cycle performance reports (AR aging denial rates collection ratios).
Analyze trends to recommend process improvements.
Track KPIs to ensure financial targets are met.
Verify insurance coverage and benefits.
Submit electronic and paper claims accurately and timely.
Handle claim denials and appeals efficiently.
Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries.
Collaborate with finance operations and customer service teams.
Maintain strong relationships with insurance providers and payment vendors.
Ensure compliance with federal state and company billing regulations.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information.
Support audits and internal financial reviews.

Required Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Healthcare Administration or related field.
12 years of experience in revenue cycle management medical billing or accounts receivable.
Strong knowledge of billing systems and revenue cycle workflows.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
