Description

A Clinical Quality Analyst 1 within our health system will play a vital role in improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall quality of care. This position requires a detail-oriented analytical individual who can support the health systems quality improvement initiatives by analyzing data identifying trends and providing actionable insights.



Responsibilities

Data Analysis: Collect compile and analyze data related to patient outcomes and quality of care. Utilize various data sources such as electronic health records (EHRs) patient surveys and clinical databases.

Reporting: Generate detailed reports that summarize findings highlight trends and provide recommendations for quality improvement initiatives.

Performance Measurement: Assist in the development and implementation of performance measures ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Quality Improvement Initiatives: Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to design and implement quality improvement projects. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and track the effectiveness of interventions.

Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate findings and recommendations to various stakeholders including healthcare providers management and external agencies. Prepare presentations and deliver them to diverse audiences.

Compliance: Ensure that all activities comply with relevant laws regulations and accreditation standards. Maintain thorough documentation of quality improvement activities and outcomes.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated on best practices emerging trends and new technologies in healthcare quality improvement and data analysis. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Education: Associates degree in Nursing or Allied Health.

Experience: Minimum 2 years related experience in a healthcare setting preferably in a role related to quality improvement or data analysis or a related field.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.

Proficiency in statistical software and data analysis tools (e.g. SAS SPSS R Excel).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data in a clear and concise manner.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
