ISS STOXX is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer ( & Java)to join our team in Mumbai (Goregaon East) India
Overview:
Were seeking a driven and technically grounded Associate Software Engineer (35 years of experience) to join our Engineering team and help build the next generation of our full-stack platform. Youll work closely with senior engineers to design develop and ship features across the entire stackusing a modern integrated toolchain including React Hasura PostgreSQL Nhost and Docker.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain full-stack features: frontend UIs in React backend logic in and data layers via PostgreSQL and Hasura.
Build and deploy serverless functions and auth-aware services using Nhost.
Containerize development and deployment workflows using Docker to ensure localproduction parity.
Extend and consume GraphQL APIs powered by Hasura
Write clean testable code with unit/integration tests
Participate in code reviews sprint planning and collaborative troubleshooting.
Debug and resolve cross-stack issuesfrom UI rendering to API latency to database performance.
Document work share learnings and actively contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
35 years of professional or intensive project-based software development experience.
Hands-on demonstrable experience with all of the following:
React Hasura Nhost and Docker
Solid working knowledge of:
(Express or similar frameworks)
PostgreSQL (writing queries basic schema design)
Git & modern development workflows (feature branches PRs CI awareness)
Ability to troubleshoot across frontend backend data layers.
Strong communication curiosity and commitment to engineering best practices (e.g. testing code clarity security awareness).
Good to Have
Experience with TypeScript in full-stack contexts.
Familiarity with CI/CD (e.g. GitHub Actions GitLab CI).
Exposure to infrastructure-as-code or cloud deployment (e.g. Vercel AWS Render).
Interest inor early experience withAI integrations (e.g. LLM APIs vector search embeddings in apps).
