Job Summary
The Splunk - Senior Developer will be responsible for building and configuring observability components across metrics traces and synthetic monitoring with a strong focus on Splunk Observability Cloud capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and configure custom charts using Chart Builder
Design and implement SignalFlow detectors including:
o Composite alerts
o SLO burn-rate alerts
Configure APM capabilities:
o Business Workflows
o AlwaysOn Profiling
Develop and maintain synthetic monitors:
o Browser-based tests
o API-based tests
Support dashboard recreation aligned to target-state standards
Collaborate on alert migration tuning and validation
Contribute to log-trace correlation enablement
Work closely with Lead to implement reusable patterns and standards
Support troubleshooting of ingestion and observability gaps
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Splunk Observability Cloud
Expertise in:
o SignalFlow and detector development
o APM configuration and profiling
o Synthetic monitoring (browser API scripting)
Experience with observability concepts (SLIs SLOs alerting strategies)
Familiarity with distributed tracing and microservices environments
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
