The Opportunity
We are looking for a senior Front-End Architect with a consultative mindset to help organisations design and build modern scalable high-traffic digital platforms. This role is hands-on and client-facing combining strong front-end engineering expertise with the ability to guide conversations clarify requirements and influence technical decisions.
You will work across modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular while applying deep and rigorous core JavaScript expertise that goes beyond framework usage. You will collaborate closely with designers backend engineers and stakeholders to deliver solutions that achieve exceptional user experience strong performance and longterm maintainability.
What Youll Do
- Design and build modern front-end applications using frameworks such as React or Angular
- Contribute to high-traffic performance-sensitive websites and applications
- Act as a technical advisor helping clients define problems and evaluate solution options
- Lead technical discussions and explain trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborate closely with UX backend and architecture teams
- Influence front-end architecture standards and best practices
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to team capability uplift
- Stay current with evolving front-end technologies and patterns
What Were Looking For
- 1014 years of professional experience in front-end development
- Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks (React Angular Vue or similar)
- Excellent fundamentals in HTML CSS JavaScript and TypeScript
- Proven experience building and maintaining high-traffic scalable websites
- Solid understanding of performance optimisation accessibility and responsive design
- Experience with modern build tools and automated testing frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in client-facing environments and owning technical conversations
- A consultative outcome-focused mindset with the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively
Nice to Have
- Experience with Commerce Content Management platforms
- Experience working in enterprise or complex environments
