Senior Architect – AI & Automation
Job Summary
Job purpose:
The Senior Architect AI & Automation is a client-facing role responsible for shaping designing and delivering AI and automation solutions that drive measurable business outcomes for clients. This role partners closely with clients to understand their strategic priorities identify opportunities and architect scalable innovative solutions that enhance efficiency insight and competitive advantage.

Client Advisory & Strategy
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on Architecture AI and automation strategy use cases and roadmap development.
- Engage with senior client stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into technology-enabled solutions.
- Identify and shape opportunities to embed AI and automation into client operating models.
- Provide thought leadership on industry trends emerging technologies and best practices.
- Advisory Solution Architecture Consulting Delivery and/or Program and Project Management across key Programs and Projects. (85% Utilisation)
Solution Architecture & Design
- Understand Avec Engagement module methodologies and Delivery enablers.
- Lead the design of end-to-end AI and automation solutions in conjunction with practice leaders tailored to client needs.
- Develop scalable secure and commercially viable architectures across AI machine learning and intelligent automation.
- Ensure alignment with client enterprise architecture data environments and technology ecosystems.
- Define reusable patterns frameworks and accelerators to support consistent delivery.
Delivery & Implementation Oversight
- Provide architectural leadership across the full lifecycle of client engagementsfrom discovery through to deployment.
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure solutions are implemented in line with design quality and client expectations.
- Support estimation planning and solution scoping during pre-sales and delivery phases.
- Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and guide teams to resolution.
Commercial & Pre-Sales Contribution
- Support business development activities including proposals RFP responses and client presentations.
- Shape solution narratives that clearly articulate business value ROI and outcomes.
- Contribute to building a strong pipeline of AI and automation opportunities.
- Partner with sales and account teams to position differentiated offerings.
Data AI & Automation Enablement
- Ensure robust data strategies underpin all AI solutions including data quality governance and integration.
- Guide the development and deployment of machine learning models and automation workflows.
- Promote responsible ethical and compliant use of AI technologies across client solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong trusted relationships with client stakeholders at all levels.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear compelling and business-focused way.
- Influence decision-making and drive alignment across client and delivery teams.
- Ensure a constructive working environment withing which the team can grow and excel.
Capability & Practice Development
- Contribute to the growth of AI and automation capability within the organisation.
- Mentor team members and share knowledge across projects.
- Support the development of reusable assets methodologies and best practices.
Qualifications :
Key Requirements:
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
Technical Expertise
- Strong experience in AI/ML automation (RPA) and intelligent automation solutions.
- Agile Practitioner
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) and AI services.
- Solid understanding of data architecture APIs and system integration.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Python Power Platform UiPath or similar.
Architecture & Consulting
- Proven experience in a Senior Architect Solution Architect or Consulting role .
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale solutions for clients.
- Strong understanding of architecture frameworks and delivery methodologies.
Commercial & Client Engagement
- Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles with strong stakeholder management.
- Experience supporting pre-sales proposals and commercial engagements.
- Ability to articulate value and translate technical solutions into business outcomes.
