HR Administrator

Job Summary:

The HR Administrator plays a key support role within the Human Resources team bridging the

gap between administrative HR support and full generalist-level coordination. This position is

responsible for maintaining HR data integrity supporting onboarding and offboarding

coordinating with staffing partners and serving as a first point of contact for associate HR

needs. Ideal for someone with entry-level HR experience looking to build hands-on skills in a

fast-paced warehousing environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but may assist senior HR team

members with administrative tasks and HR projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the first line of HR support for employees by addressing general questions

about policies timekeeping and benefits

Assist with the onboarding process: prepare new hire paperwork support Day 1

logistics and ensure timely system updates

Maintain and update employee records in HR systems (e.g. Workday) ensuring

accuracy in job titles schedules and reporting lines

Submit and track Workday tasks such as job changes terminations and personal

information updates

Assist with payroll-related tasks including timecard audits and missed punch correction

forms

Coordinate with staffing agencies for temp onboarding extensions and terminations

Help organize and execute employee engagement initiatives (birthdays wellness events

celebrations etc.)

Support incident reporting by ensuring accurate documentation is submitted and filed

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion

Provide back-up support for HR Coordinator during peak workload or time off

Assist in creating basic HR communications or job postings as directed by HR leadership

Required Skills/Abilities:

12 years of experience in an HR administrative or people operations support role

preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must be approachable and

solutions-oriented

Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset

Ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines

Familiarity with HRIS platforms preferably Workday or a strong willingness to learn in

the first 30 days

Comfortable with Google Suite (Docs Sheets Calendar) and Microsoft Office

Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Associate degree or coursework in HR or Business Administration preferred

Prior experience supporting a warehouse manufacturing or logistics environment is a

plus

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Ability to walk the warehouse floor as needed

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds

Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
