Office Administrator
Job Summary
Description
- Exhibit a high level of professionalism in verbal and written communication with customers and visitors
- Answers the phone and directs calls to the appropriate individuals
- Manage paper files for items such as equipment titles and various reports
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers
- Ensure the office is well-maintained organized and secure
- Scan BOLs and help file AP invoices and other paper documents
- Organize luncheons meetings catered events and other activities as required
- Organize company functions such as picnics retirement gatherings and Christmas parties
- Order and organize the mail room including keeping all office supplies in stock
- Gather the company mail from a post office box daily
- Complete a Fire Extinguisher report monthly
- Distribute and reconcile the petty cash
- Collect money from all the company vending machines
- Open boxes and verify items to packing lists
- Use Ellipse/ Fulcrum software to receive items
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Drivers License
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Fundamental understanding of logistics and general business principles
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel PowerPoint
- Ability to organize and collaborate across multiple functional teams
- High attention to detail well organized and good independent judgment
- Strong financial aptitude and focus on bottom-line results
- Ability to work both independently and as part of the larger team
- Is regularly required to use hands to type touch handle or feel
- Is frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms
- Is occasionally required to walk and climb or balance
- May occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
- Will at times be exposed to loud noises
- 40 hours/ week Monday through Friday
