The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) is a seeking a Senior Project Manager for a Safety & Quality Program you will be part of an experienced team to enable our programs to increase the consistency and predictability of program execution. Serve as part of the PM function across both BGS Government and Commercial programs to ensure the people process and tools support our program managers. Position is located in either San Antonio TX or Plano TX.
Success in this role comes from proactively engaging with stakeholders and prioritizing high value pain points or opportunities to convert them into improvements for BGS Safety & Quality. The ideal candidate will have a proven aptitude for asking insightful and challenging questions to drive clarity accountability and informed decision-making. The candidate will lead cross-functional initiatives at a global scale to drive maturity in safety and quality management systems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable owning projects from start to finish demonstrating autonomy in managing tasks and priorities.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads develops coordinates integrates analyzes and maintains integrated plans for complex projects and change driven activities in accordance with project management industry.
Identifies risk and opportunity potential develops mitigation planning and refines the business case.
Facilitates and ensures integration of project plan schedules and change management
Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
Coordinates commitments with internal and stakeholders to fulfill strategies.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Demonstrated ability to work directly with executives or senior leaders
1 years of experience developing executive level presentations
3 years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans schedules or solutions
Ability to lead an integrated team through personal influence without direct line authority over team members
1 years of experience being involved in Employee Involvement or Engagement teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience with leading cross functional teams or Employee Involvement (EI) teams
Exposure to Safety Management & Quality Management Systems
A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for driving continuous improvements.
