Position Summary

At Ultra Maritime your job is national defense.

Every PO you track every supplier you align and every shortage you resolve plays a direct role in helping our Navy detect track and neutralize undersea threats. You wont just be chasing parts and updating data youll be enabling one of the most advanced anti-submarine warfare (ASW) platforms in the world.

What Youll Do

  • Track open purchase orders and actively follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
  • Communicate changes in schedules delays and risks to buyers planners and operations
  • Maintain accurate data in ERP systems updating delivery dates quantities and status notes
  • Assist buyers with issuing POs RFQs and documentation as needed
  • Escalate critical shortages and expedite materials to support production demands
  • Coordinate with receiving quality planning and engineering to resolve delivery issues
  • Help prevent bottlenecks through diligent monitoring of supplier performance and commitments
  • Provide visibility to the organization through clear reporting and status updates
  • Support Compliance through documentation and reporting
  • Help coordinate a world-class supply chain that supports our national defense

Qualifications

  • 3 years of relevant supply chain procurement administrative experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment)

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and comfort working with BI tools and ERP system

  • Experience with FAR and DFARS requirements a plus

  • Excellent communication analysis and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in a defense and/or government contracting environment a plus
