Responsibilities
As a Senior Stakeholder Engagement Lead with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:
- Lead stakeholder engagement strategy for a government agency program ensuring alignment with mission functional and operational needs.
- Serve as primary liaison between the Government and its components IT vendors and frontline functional staff to gather feedback resolve issues and maintain strong working relationships.
- Plan and facilitate stakeholder workshops listening sessions and working groups to capture requirements pain points and process improvements for the primary system.
- Translate functional and operational stakeholder needs into clear actionable inputs for product roadmaps system configuration and workflow design.
- Develop and execute communication plans (briefings newsletters FAQs town halls) to keep leadership and field users informed of system capabilities changes and rollout timelines.
- Coordinate with functional leadership privacy and legal teams to ensure stakeholder concerns related to user safety data protection and compliance are understood and addressed.
- Support change management and user adoption activities including stakeholder readiness assessments feedback loops and issue resolution during pilots and phased deployments.
- Develop and deliver stakeholder-focused presentations and talking points for government leadership governance boards and external oversight bodies.
- Monitor stakeholder satisfaction analyze feedback trends and recommend strategies to improve system usability workflow integration and overall user experience.
- Collaborate with training teams to ensure end-user training materials job aids and communication products address stakeholder priorities and real-world operational scenarios.
- Maintain a stakeholder engagement plan and contact matrix documenting roles interests concerns and decision-making responsibilities across government and partner organizations.
- Support program risk and issue management by identifying stakeholder-related risks early proposing mitigation strategies and tracking resolution through closure.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- CBP BI or Top Secret Clearance is required.
- Bachelors degree and 7 years of experience.
- Experience liaisoning for complex programs for the government.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Project and SharePoint.
- Excellent writing briefing and communication skills.
- Demonstrates initiative sound judgment and effective decision-making.
- Skilled in planning organizing and prioritizing tasks.
- Detail-oriented self-motivated and experienced supporting senior Government leaders and technical/business professionals.
Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $108100.00/Yr. - USD $180600.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
