Job Description
A leading organisation is searching for a Marketing Lead to support one of their divisions strategically across marketing digital and new product initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse market data and customer insights to develop targeted commercialisation strategies and campaigns
- Collaborate with sales channel marketing and key account teams to drive project success
- Develop and execute brand strategies promotional plans and launch tactics for OTC products
- Manage digital and social media content alignment with the annual marketing plan
- Track and report quarterly campaign performance and ROI
- Manage above-the-line schedules including TV and radio placements
- Oversee new product launch processes including artwork approvals barcode and code applications
- Create and manage POS material for product launches ensuring approval production and distribution
- Maintain product item master updates and coordinate cross-functional brand responsibilities
- Develop market forecasts and financial models for new business development prospects
- Manage marketing budgets purchase orders and digital payment processes
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical legislation good pharmacy practices and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing Business Administration Biological Science Paramedical or related field
- 23 years experience in pharmaceutical retail pharmacy sales and/or marketing
- Strong understanding of the South African OTC market
- Proficiency in Business Intelligence analytics and data-driven decision-making
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical legislation pharmacology and good pharmacy practices
- Computer literacy including MS Office and pharmacy management software
- Demonstrated experience managing commercialisation projects and achieving measurable outcomes
- Strong project management stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Financial acumen with experience in forecasting and budget tracking
- Awareness and interest in Artificial Intelligence within marketing environments
