ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Employee must have the ability to perform the following essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations:
Section A: Performance Responsibilities
Operations: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Transportation Department to ensure efficient daily workflow. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
as an administrative liaison for department administrator maintaining professional communication with district staff vendors contractors and community partners.
daily operations through effective scheduling organization and coordination of departmental activities.
and manage incoming correspondence calls and requests for information.
an organized and professional office
and Coordination: Coordinate logistical operations of district vehicles. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
use inspections maintenance and other operational activities as assigned.
Coordination: Support the coordination of transportation logistics and records. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
up to Transportation Supervisor for up-to-date bus and van schedules driver assignments and route documentation.
with families and schools regarding transportation inquiries and updates.
with contractor communication and documentation related to routes safety and compliance.

and Purchasing: Assist with financial and purchasing processes to support operations. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
process and monitor purchase orders and requisitions.
expenditures and assist in budget tracking.
financial records for assigned departments and programs.
procurement card transactions and ensure proper documentation.
the Transportation Department in preparing financial reports and budget projections.
Administrative Support: Perform general duties necessary for effective operation of the Transportation Department. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
supplies inventory and office equipment.
reports spreadsheets and correspondence as assigned.
district policies and procedures.
other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designee
Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
