Customer Discovery Intern
Join our dynamic team at Ace Beverage Group and embark on a journey to kick start your career with real life product development and consumer insight experience as our Customer Discovery Intern. Were seeking a creative and outgoing individual to help manage our Customer Discovery presence in the Metro Vancouver area and to support the Innovation team in bringing new product concepts to life through sampling consumer feedback and community engagement. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a balance of hands-on lab support event execution and is looking to grow their skills in consumer engagement.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead a calendar of Customer Discovery events introducing unreleased innovations sampling with consumers at events and capturing insights.
- Prepare and manage product samples in the Innovation Lab ensuring readiness for events internal tasting panels and to support ongoing product development needs.
- Engage directly with consumers during events collect meaningful feedback foster strong brand connections and ensure insights are accurately captured.
- Prepare and ship innovation packages to engaged community members to foster continued brand interaction.
- Ensure the lab inventory supplies and ingredients are organized and readily available.
Job Requirements and Competencies
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors Degree. Areas of study in Science Food Science or Business are preferred.
- Must be returning to post secondary school in September 2026.
- Truly passionate about product development branding and consumer trends
- Fluent English speaker
- Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships
- Ability to self-motivate and work autonomously
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Adaptable and flexible in a fast-moving and dynamic environment
- G-level drivers license with clean drivers abstract
- Permanent resident of Canada
- Willing to work a flexible working schedule including evenings and some weekends with light travel
- Smart Serve Certification
- 19 years of age or older
Schedule
Per your seasonal contract you will be required to work evenings and some weekends. Due to the nature of Customer Discovery events every week will look different and the majority of your working hours may not fall on the same days each week. Although this is not your typical 9-5 job you will gain first hand experience working for Canadas fastest growing beverage alcohol company. Shifts may require light travel throughout Vancouver - company vehicles will be provided for this purpose.
