Established in 2000 the John F. Welch Technology Center (JFWTC) in Bengaluru is our multidisciplinary research and engineering center. Engineers and scientists at JFWTC have contributed to hundreds of aviation patents pioneering breakthroughs in engine technologies advanced materials and additive manufacturing.
Roles Overview:
Conduct thermal/fluidanalysis and optimizethe design which meet given requirements validate learnings with test data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate thermal/fluidsolutions into overall product designs.
Utilize CAD/UG or similar and 1D/2D/3D modeling tools advanced CFD thermal management for thermal system design and analysis of gas turbine.
Applyand developbest practices inday-to-day activities.
Effectively communicate concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Independently manage tasks within projects ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.Independence / work without direct supervision.
Ideal candidate:
Should have experience in thermal design/analysesofgas turbine. Basic understanding of Thermodynamics Heat Transfer Fluid Mechanics Turbomachines.
Qualifications/Requirements:
MTech / MS/Ph Din Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering/Thermal Engineering or equivalent degree
5 to 10 years of relevant experience on thermal design/analysesofgas turbine/adjacent domain
Basic understanding of Thermodynamics Heat Transfer Fluid Mechanics Turbomachines secondary flow design fundamental
Proficiency in thermal simulation design tools (e.g. ANSYSHypermeshetc.)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Continuous learning mindset and commitment to staying updated with industrytrends.
