Pay: $85000.00 - $130000.00 per year

Job Description

• Support and manage high-exposure civil litigation matters including public entity defense cases
• Draft and revise legal documents pleadings motions and discovery materials
• Perform legal research and prepare internal case strategy memos
• Maintain and organize case files deadlines and litigation calendars
• Communicate with clients and collaborate with attorneys and staff to move matters forward
• Assist with case preparation for hearings mediations and other dispute resolution proceedings

Qualifications

• 3 years of civil litigation experience (plaintiff or defense)
• Public entity defense experience preferred (school districts counties municipalities dioceses etc.)
• Strong legal writing skills (motions discovery research)
• Organized detail-oriented and comfortable handling multiple active matters
• Active bar membership in good standing (California strongly preferred)
