Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data and providing oversite to standard costing. This position will maintain costing standards and business case analysis on footprint moves. Candidates must have experience in the manufacturing plant or automotive industry.
CORE FUNCTIONS
âââ Analyze financial data needed for annual standard finance engineering and operations on deliveringtimelyandaccuratestandards across the organization.
ââââSupport Operations with financial analysis of cost savings initiatives working closely with Continuous Improvement team to calculate andvalidatethefinancial impactof each project.
âââââMaintain business case analysis working closely with strategic teams to ensure we deliver the mostaccuratelean cost projects range from bottom SKU level to M&A support to company positioning.
ââââââAssist the team with all otherduties asassigned; this may include accounting accounts payable and accounts receivable costing inventory internal control cash management internal financial reporting and budgeting.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in Accountingisrequired.
âRoughly 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment supporting the accounting function or QA Inventory ControlPurchasing or Operations isrequired.
âExperience using ERP systems and report writer functionality
Skills Abilities and Knowledge
Skilled in 10-key.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Ability to add subtract and compute financial ratios consistent with accounting education basic requirements.
Ability to apply and identify concerns or recommendations.
Strong analytical skills needed.
Travel
Occasional travel between plant locations may be required.
