What You Will Do:

The Vendor Assist & Logistics Managerwill support and manage shop assist suppliers. The Vendor Assist & Logistics Managerwill apply problem-solving expertise and build efficient working relationships across the many P&W functional groups; Quality Materials Continuous Improvement Engineering MCL ESA Global Work Share and multiple suppliers.

The Vendor Assist & Logistics Manager will ensure an uninterrupted flow of parts to production while meeting specific quality delivery and contractual requirements. The Vendor Assist & Logistics Manager will be the main point of contact for the shop assist suppliers you manage and will coordinate and lead actions pertaining to business continuity and improvement.

Responsible for logistics of the packing shipping and receiving team
Supplier relationships: delivery and quality performance business reviews underperforming supplier reviews customer satisfaction
Project Management: Lead supplier qualification efforts for multiple process nodes stakeholder and supplier reviews
Delivery assurance: ownership of delivery commitment and execution output support risk mitigation driving recovery plans with communication to internal customers owning the recovery through Line of Balance (LOB) improvements
Planning: daily interactions with site materials management team and planner for each value assist operation to ensure material flow and setting priorities at the supplier
Up to 50% travel to supplier sites

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelors degree and 8 or more years of experience in a manufacturing operations supply chain materials management quality or related environment OR a Masters degree and 5 or more years of experience in a manufacturing operations supply chain materials management quality or related environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Working knowledge of SAP

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience managing multiple projects
Delivery assurance and risk mitigation experience
CORE experience and analytical/metrics driven approach

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 107500 USD - 204500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
