Travel: Required throughout the year during program execution
Position Overview
- Lead and manage a STEM and/or technical program from strategic planning through execution
- Oversee delivery of hands-on technically rigorous initiatives aligned with workforce or educational objectives
- Serve as the primary interface between technical staff academic/industry partners sponsors and leadership
- Ensure technical accuracy program quality and measurable outcomes
- Drive continuous improvement to keep programming aligned with evolving industry needs
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute program plans schedules and technical deliverables
- Coordinate instructors subject matter experts mentors and operational staff
- Ensure curriculum labs workshops or technical activities meet defined standards
- Manage budgets reporting requirements and funding compliance (if applicable)
- Track performance metrics including participation technical outcomes and impact
- Identify and mitigate technical operational or safety risks
- Build and maintain partnerships with industry academia and/or government stakeholders
- Support proposal development program expansion and sustainability efforts
- Present program updates and results to executive leadership and external partners
Requirements- Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science STEM discipline or related field required; advanced degree preferred
- 510 years of experience leading STEM technical or engineering-focused programs
- Demonstrated experience managing complex multi-disciplinary technical initiatives
- Strong understanding of technical curriculum development or applied engineering environments
- Experience working with industry academic institutions or government sponsors
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong organizational analytical and communication abilities
- Ability to translate high-level strategy into structured executable plans
