Job Summary

Juken New Zealand Ltd (JNL) is an established and globally connected New Zealand forestry company. We operate three woodprocessing plants across the North Island and manage forest estates in both the Wairarapa and East Coast regions.

Were looking for a motivated and capable person to join our East Coast Forests team as a Forest Development Manager. Reporting to the GM East Coast Forests youll be responsible for planning and delivering JNLs forest development programme to ensure we continue to grow a strong highquality forest resource.

Key Responsibilities

Manage forest development operations to support the longterm objectives of our integrated forestry business.
Build and maintain strong contractor relationships that meet legal operational and company expectations.
Ensure forest development activities meet JNL Health & Safety and Environmental policies procedures and standards.

What Youll Bring

Experience in silviculture or forest development is preferred but were open to the right person with the right attitude.
A tertiary qualification in forestry or a related field.
A commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
The ability to work well as part of a team while also being confident working independently.
An analytical practical mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
A genuine interest in developing a longterm career in forestry with JNL.
