Job Summary
Our client located in Wellington is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Receiving Manager to oversee all incoming stock and deliveries.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate efficient and timely receipt of goods while maintaining high standards of inventory control and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise the receiving team to ensure smooth daily operations
Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy quality and compliance with purchase orders
Coordinate unloading checking and proper storage of goods
Maintain accurate inventory records and update systems accordingly
Resolve discrepancies damages or shortages with suppliers and internal teams
Ensure adherence to health safety and company policies
Collaborate with procurement logistics and warehouse departments
Train and develop receiving staff to improve performance and efficiency
Requirements
Proven experience in a receiving warehouse or logistics management role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling
Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Logistics Supply Chain or a related field
Experience with warehouse management software
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
