Senior Executive Officer ()
The Academic Registry is now looking for an outgoing dynamic and detail-minded person to perform administrative duties in the Admissions Office.
Responsibilities:
- Support various admission schemes of undergraduate programmes for the admission of local and non-local students including processing and verifying applications and issuing offers;
- Provide support to applicants and Faculties / Schools in the recruitment and admission processes as well as taking up the role of liaison with different units within and outside the University;
- Prepare and compile statistical analysis and reports;
- Support the updates and maintenance of the Admissions Information System; and
- Assist in the planning and coordination of outreach activities locally and outside Hong Kong. Occasional travel to Mainland and overseas is required.
Requirements:
- A recognised degree preferably in marketing or statistics/information systems plus preferably three to five years of post-qualification work experiences;
- Previous work experiences in the tertiary education sector especially in the area of non-JUPAS admissions will be a definite advantage;
- An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Be people-oriented mature and be able to embrace changes and work in a dynamic environment. Suitable candidates are expected to possess good interpersonal and presentation skills as well as possess the ability to work independently and under pressure;
- Experiences in admissions process outreach activities statistical analysis and will be an added asset; and
- Candidates with high level of IT proficiency are highly preferred.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two year(s). Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
