Position Overview:
This role is required to lead strategic initiatives and business opportunity workstreams within PETROS Growth organisation translating strategic intent into executable investable outcomes. This role is suited for high-capacity professionals with a strong sense of ownership structured thinking and the ability to operate across ambiguity delivering impact in a fast-evolving national building platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead assigned growth or programme initiatives by shaping opportunity framing strategic logic and execution pathways supporting both business verticals and hub-level priorities.
- Structure and develop business or investment cases that are coherent capital-ready and partner-aligned by integrating commercial technical regulatory and economic inputs.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment resolve ambiguities and maintain momentum across opportunity evaluation planning or early delivery.
- Support investor and partner engagement processes including preparation of narratives strategic presentations due diligence responses and coordination of touchpoints.
- Contribute to strategic planning portfolio shaping and capital phasing by bringing structured problem-solving stakeholder logic and sequencing clarity into growth narratives.
- Drive financial and economic evaluation of opportunities by developing or coordinating cashflow models IRR/NPV assessments and sensitivity analyses to inform investment decisions and internal alignment.
- Ensure quality rigour and execution-readiness across deliverables by driving clear problem statements structured analysis and decision-focused outputs in all assigned initiatives.
- Support opportunity framing and strategy development by designing fit-for-purpose assessment frameworks structuring growth pathways and translating strategic intent into actionable implementation plans.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Finance Economics or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business development strategy programme management or corporate advisory in complex sectors.
- Proven track record in shaping initiatives across commercial technical and regulatory dimensions.
- Experience in energy infrastructure or industrial development environments.
- Familiarity with business case development project economics or TECOP framing.
- Knowledge of investment governance or stage-gate processes.
