Test Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and control the development of test specifications/test cases/ sets of regression tests for new and enhanced software release of applications in an accurate and timely manner.
• Manage project/release test strategies focussing on both functional and non-functional requirements while highlighting the needs with regards to environment test data entry and exit criteria for different test phases regression testing and test automation.
• Design test plans for multiple-phase projects of high complexity and based on a combination of inputs like estimates skills and number of resources
• Participate in backlog reviews ensuring testability of user stories. Involve the right stakeholders in test design reviews and approvals
• Write and execute test cases of multiple-phase projects analyse and log results.
• Ensure that test schedules and procedures are followed according to plan while respecting deadlines for completion of testing
• Ensure homogeneity in testing processes and propose process improvements for testing activities.
• Ensure that all captured/reported problems are identified and that solutions are proposed
• Continuous measurement of progress and quality of testing deliverables. Provide with release/project based final test reports as a preparation for UAT handover
• Manage test automation initiatives and solution frameworks
• Coach and motivate team members define priorities and objectives follow up progress and achievements.
• Provide input for budget allocation including manpower projections.

Required Skills:

• 7 years of experience in IT testing area ideally with leadership skills in delivery area.
• Able to take decision and pursues the best course of action to deliver results based in-depth analyses.
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Sets clear standards for quality of work in line with procedures standards and policies.
• Demonstrates Operational Excellence security and resilience.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach to testing challenges
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Proven experience in CICD DevOps implementations of test automation pipeline and integration
• Lead with a Team spirit: encourage a continuous improvement mindset and ensure a safe working environment
• Business Understanding Commercial Sense and Customer centric
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Professional English language skills
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic international environment
• Solid communication (written and oral) and presentation skills

Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of Jira and Xray
• Experience with testing in SAP environment on SAPGUI and or Fiori Interface
• Programming skills to support and build test automation (Python Java)
• Understanding on webservice protocols (SOAP Rest) and experience with test tools (Postman SoapUI)
• Basic Database (SQL) and OS (Linux) skills
• Practical knowledge on test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools (Cloudbees Jenkins Bitbucket Robotframework)
