Job Summary

Probity Officer

At the NSW Department of Education we educate and inspire lifelong learners from early childhood through schooling to vocational education and training.

  • Multiple Temporary Full-Time positions 6-months with the possibility of extension
  • Located in Parramatta offering flexible working arrangements with mandatory office presence for business requirements as required
  • Clerk Grade 3/4 - $84659 to $92701 plus superannuation and leave loading

About the role

As a Probity Officer you will play a critical role in supporting the Departments commitment to child safety and integrity by ensuring the workforce remains compliant with employment screening requirements. This includes delivering high-volume pre-employment checks and ongoing screening services for staff contractors and volunteers. You will also:

  • Accurately and efficiently manage high-volume of HR compliance services
  • Respond to enquiries in a contact-centre like environment and escalate complex issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with Department policies
