With continued high growth and a healthy pipeline of transactions the BDO Sydney Deal Advisory team are seeking to appoint a Transaction Services Senior Manager to join the team.

We are a high performing team having won various awards such as Leading Accounting Adviser for IPOs on the ASX in 2024 a leading Financial Due Diligence provider globally and we have completed 1752 deals globally in 2024!

Current opportunity

As a Senior Manager in Transaction Services you will manage and lead teams performing detailed financial analysis (i.e. financial due diligence and forecast reviews) and preparing reports/ presentations for senior management and boards.

This role will also provide the opportunity to:

• Interact directly with senior management (C-suite) of our clients
• Identify negotiation factors for purchase price and deal structuring
• Performance management mentoring and training junior staff members
• Set a career path with clear and honest visibility around progression
• Be responsible for business development and pursuit activities as well as cultivating long-term client relationships
• Develop and manage divisional strategic tasks.

About you

Our preferred candidate comes from a Corporate Finance background ideally from a professional services firm. You will be bold client-focussed with a growth-mindset. Combined with:

• 6 years of relevant work experience (including 4 years experience in a dedicated Transaction Services role)
• Background in another leading accounting or advisory firm or investment banking
• Strong report writing research modelling and financial analytical skills.
• Delivery and project management experience
• CA and/or CFA qualifications or similar
• Degree with outstanding academic record from a leading Australian or Overseas university or business school in one or more fields including Accounting Management Commerce Business or Finance.
