Job Summary

The Student Support & Engagement Aide assists administration in building a positive school community by providing flexible and proactive support to ensure a safe structured and positive learning environment for all students. This dynamic role supports the smooth operation of the school day by addressing a variety of needs across the campus and assisting in maintaining a calm respectful school is a temporary hourly position for the remainder of the school year with the possibility of continuation for the school year contingent upon budget ResponsibilitiesStudent Supervision & Transitions Respond promptly to escort students to designated locations when directed by short-term supervision and support to students when the Restorative Specialist is unavailable fostering reflection and positive as a students escort as needed ensuring safety and appropriate students in In School Suspension as Cafeteria PeriodsOversee and manage student behavior during breakfast and all three lunch periods to ensure a safe and respectful environment in the cafeteria and surrounding and Bathroom MonitoringMaintains a visible presence in the common areas and regular checks of restrooms every class period to maintain safety cleanliness and any issues or concerns in these areas reporting them to appropriate staff as and Dismissal SupportGreet students warmly during morning arrival breakfast duty promoting a positive start to the school with dismissal procedures ensuring a safe and organized end to the day for all Campus PresenceServe as a visible approachable presence throughout the school day to support students staff and positive relationships with students and act as a resource for addressing minor conflicts or Duties as AssignedPerform additional responsibilities as needed to support the schools operations and maintain a positive learning environment.
