EduTalent Group are hiring for a dedicated and proactive Maths Tutor to support the embedding of curriculum intent and deliver high quality Maths provision. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons aligned to the curriculum develop schemes of work including mid and long term planning and collaborate closely with other tutors to ensure consistency and high standards.
The role includes baselining students within their first term ensuring appropriate qualification pathways setting and reviewing targets monitoring tracking and coursework progress and maintaining accurate and compliant student documentation. You will support assessment planning and delivery contribute to mock examinations and report concerns appropriately.
You will ensure all SEND processes are in place liaise with the SENCo regarding EHCP targets oversee attendance monitoring and follow up procedures maintain GDPR compliant records and ensure all awarding body and ESFA requirements are met. The role includes directing Associate Teachers contributing to cross curricular collaboration supporting resource development maintaining health and safety compliance and providing line management supervision to teaching staff to support delivery to EIF standards.
Requirements
Essential
Experience teaching Maths and planning differentiated lessons
Experience developing schemes of work including mid and long term planning
Strong understanding of SEND provision and EHCP processes
Experience with student tracking evidence gathering and target setting
Knowledge of awarding body standards and compliance requirements
Ability to monitor attendance and maintain accurate safeguarding records
Understanding of GDPR and ESFA requirements
Ability to direct and support teaching or associate staff
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Commitment to safeguarding health and safety and equality practices
Desirable
Experience working within alternative provision or specialist settings
Experience preparing students for Maths qualifications
Line management or staff supervision experience
Experience contributing to cross curricular curriculum development
Experience developing accessible online and blended learning resources
